I had to have it only once and I was in love. Buratta is one of those cheese balls that can be bathed, dressed and embellished to look and taste like a million bucks.
It’s filled with cream inside, and am so bewitched that I am willing to overlook the fat and the cream. Just this one time.
Ingredients
- One ball of Buratta Cheese
- Rocket Leaves
- Freshly Diced Tomatoes
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Pepper
- Sea Salt
- Optional – Green Olives
- Sundried Tomatoes - if you wish
- Basil Leaves - if you have some handy
Method
- 1. Take out the Buratta, place it in the serving dish, which has a little depth. Wash rocket leaves, add the chopped tomatoes.
- 2. Pour over a generous quantity of EVO and balsamic vinegar.
- 3. Sprinkle fresh black pepper and sea salt.
